Fa-Chang Cheng is an intellectual property instructor certified by the Intellectual Property Office of Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan. He serves as a member on the committee of Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System to review applications to be registered in the system. He has extensive experience of intellectual property practice in industries. In recent years, Fa-Chang has gradually evolved his expertise in telecommunication policy and information privacy protection. He published several articles in this field, including one SSCI article discussing recent development of Do Not Track mechanism to protect digital footprint. He also offered consulting opinion regarding copyright or information privacy protection for Information Industry. Currently, Fa-Chang Cheng is a full-time professor of the Graduate Institute of Science and Technology Law at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. He had also been served on the School Research and Development Committee. Fa-Chang Cheng received his Juris Doctor degree from Claude W. Pettit College of Law in Ohio Northern University and Master of Laws in International Legal Studies from School of Law in Golden Gate University. His current study interests are telecommunications policy, intellectual property rights and information privacy protection.
