【後5G時代數位轉型之發展契機國際論壇 】活動資訊

全球5G商用服務已啟用兩年餘，人們皆在期待並積極邁向5G技術領航的新世界。除了新技術與新應用，亦可見到世界各國就政策面進行規劃和改造，包括日本於今年9月1日成立數位廳、我國預計成立數位發展部等。從技術、產業到政策，究竟5G還會為全球社會帶來哪些影響，我們又該如何掌握其中的發展契機？

本次論壇有幸邀請到日本九州大學篠﨑彰彦(Akihiko, SHINOZAKI)教授擔任主講人。篠﨑教授是日本數位經濟知名學者，著作豐富，日本總務省發行的情報通信白皮書第一篇有關IT經濟專篇，就是由他所指導成形。篠﨑教授曾任日本內閣府經濟社會研究所資深研究員，也歷任日本總務省、經濟產業省等部會諮詢委員，熟稔IT政策。此外，他也曾服務於日本開發銀行，產、官、學界經歷豐富。本次，他將以「ICT產業及其對全球社會之影響 : 後5G時代數位轉型發展契機」為題，於演講中分享數位科技快速發展帶來的動態變化，並將以印度為例，分析美國與印度的數位服務貿易情形，並探討促成數位經濟繁榮發展的關鍵因素，進而挖掘5G時代數位轉型發展契機，並介紹日本政府邁向2030年的ICT政策。

接著，篠﨑教授將與國內多位重量級貴賓進行交流，包括擔任座談會主持人的謝穎青律師、與談人台灣大學張時中教授、台灣網路資訊中心黃勝雄董事暨執行長、前NCC主委暨數位經濟暨產業發展協會詹婷怡副理事長以及台北大學劉崇堅教授，共同探討ICT產業與數位轉型的發展契機。

Event informations: International Forum - The Development Opportunities of Digital Transformation in Beyond 5G Era

The 5G business service has been launched for 2 years globally. People are expected and take steps aggressively to the new world which is led by 5G technology. Except for new technologies and new applications, we could also find that there are many countries that have planned and modified the policy. For example, Japan has set up the digital agency on 1st September 2021, and Taiwan is going to set up the Digital Development Department. How many impacts would 5G bring to the global community besides technology, industry and policy? And how could we hold onto the development opportunities?

In this forum, we are honored to invite Dr. Akihiko SHINOZAKI, who is the professor of Kyushu University in JAPAN, to be the keynote speaker. Dr. SHINOZAKI is an impactive scholar with rich creations. He had mentored the IT economic special article in “WHITE PAPER Information and Communications in Japan”. He has also been a professional member of several Japanese government committees regarding telecommunications policy and economic policy organized by the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry. This time, he would launch the speech called ‘ICT-enabled business and its impact on the global communities: Development Opportunities of Digital Transformation in Beyond 5G Era’. He would share the dynamic changes in the global community driven by the rapid spread of digital technology, and take India for example to analyze the ICT-enabled service trade condition between the U.S. and India. Then, he would analyze the key elements which makes digital economics prosperous and leads listeners to dig out the development opportunities of digital transformation in beyond 5G era. He would also share the Japanese government’s ICT policy toward the 2030s.

Then, Dr. SHINOZAKI would join the panel discussion with our domestic honored guests including attorney Arthur Shay as moderator. Our panelist includes Dr. Shi-Chung Chang, the professor of National Taiwan University, Kenny Huang, the managing director and CEO of TWNIC, Nicole, T.I Chan, the former chairperson of NCC and vice chairperson of Digital Transformation Association, Chorng-Jian Liu, the professor of National Taipei University. They would have insightful discussion about the development opportunities brought by ICT-enabled business.
